1. Access a DME using an SSH terminal (putty) and login using your DME Username and Password. Enter 18 (Generate Log Collection) to generate the tar.gz.aes file2. Verify this is what you want to do, and that the time on the DME is correct. The name and location of encrypted file is listed at bottom when completed.3.
The generated log file will be in the DME FTP root, in a directory called “zippedLogs”
4. Using an FTP client, open an FTP session to the DME, navigate to “zippedLogs”, and copy file to provide to Vbrick Support.

Once the file is copied it can be deleted from the DME.
