It is possible to save a copy of a DME configuration. Navigate in Vbadmin to System Configuration>Manage Configuration. On this page you will see options to save the configuration and restore the configuration.
- Save Configuration
- This will allow you to save all the configuration options which can be restored at a later time. This file will be saved in .tar.gz format and is not editable.
- Restore Configuration
- Restore from a file
- This will allow you restore from a previously saved configuration file. Click "Upload File" and browse to previously save .tar.gz file. Next, click "Restore Configuration". The configuration of the DME will be returned to the configuration of the uploaded file.
- Restore from a snapshot point
- This will allow you to return the DME configuration to the point in time the last Save Configuration was performed. The DME will read the .tar.gz file from its disk and apply the configuration.
